Boxes (we call them hog troughs) are very solid showing no rust.
Based on a visual inspection, the car seems to be mechanically sound.
It does start easily and runs, all lights work. A/C compressor works,
as does the blower. A/C needs to be converted to R134a and possibly
needs to be recharged. Driver’s side window needs to be repaired,
as it does not open. Car has been repainted and shows some signs
of needing additional paintwork and repair. Over all appearance
of the car is good.
This car is one of only 4,684 built as 1963 and 1964 models. The
Studebaker Automobile Corporation built this car in late June or
early July of 1962 in South Bend IN.
